Fika Architects responded to an RFP for the design of a state-of-the-art indoor soccer facility at Midland Soccer Club. The project encompasses a 120,000-square-foot space, featuring a full-sized 11v11 field, two 9v9 fields, and four 7v7 fields. The facility is designed to accommodate up to 1,000 spectators and includes a fully equipped fitness center with locker rooms. Additionally, the mezzanine level offers office spaces, retail areas, and conference rooms.
The building’s architecture features a single span Pre-Engineered metal building with open web frames highlighted by a striking glass corner entrance adorned with a sleek, green metal panel canopy. This modern design not only meets the functional needs of the club but also enhances its visual appeal, creating a welcoming and dynamic environment for athletes and visitors alike.
